SPORT: Chelsea Expected To Seal Surprise Deal For 18-Goal Star

Premier League champions Chelsea have emerged as the favourites to snap up Charlie Austin this summer ahead of a number of top-flight teams, according to the Express.
The striker impressed during his debut season in the Premier League and managed to score 18 goals for a relegated Queens Park Rangers side who were poor all campaign.
As expected a number of top flight teams have been linked with Austin following QPR’s relegation, and the striker is highly unlikely to be lining up in the Championship next season.
It seems that the England striker has caught the eye of Jose Mourinho with Chelsea emerging as the favourites for his signature according to the Express.
According to the aforementioned source, QPR have valued Austin at £15m which may price a few clubs out of a move. Other clubs said to be tracking Austin include Newcastle United, West Ham United, Southampton and Liverpool, as per the newspaper.
