Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Chief Bisi Akande
and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar are currently in a fierce
battle over who'll emerge Chairman of the party's board of trustee.
PUNCH reports that the tussle was part of moves by the power blocs in the APC to influence decisions in the party by taking control of its various organs. The warring power blocs are Atiku faction and National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu faction.
The Tinubu faction is said to be rooting for Akande as BOT Chairman.
